hello ,Ihave a toshiba lab top with the xp opperating system.my wirless will conect to internet evrywhere ,at work,hotel ,even my next door neighbor,but not to my owne wirless(netgear wireless g router wgr614) at home.and gives me the message(the network password needs to be 40 bits or104 bits depending-----------------------------------). i hve 2 more labtop(dell and hp same opperating system )at home .they have no problem conecting only on toshiba( at home only) please help me. tnx

Turn off the wireless secruity in the router and then see if it will connect

I believe 40-bit encryption was an 802.11b WEP encryption level. You might try a driver upgrade for the wireless adapter. If that doesn't work, I'd suggest a new adapter that works with WPA.
