Folder Lock 6 Software
I downloaded the "demo" version of Folder Lock 6 software and tested it by encrypting some of documents. My password will not open the files and I can find no way to get the file open. Is there a backdoor to getting my files back. I have uninstalled the software and re-installed it, but still no luck.

I guess that is how they get you to buy the software, contact them and see what they say about your problem, http://www.newsoftwares.net/contact.html

No back door that I know of for encryption.

I think you have forgotten your password that is why you are not able to open your files, else if you have any other problem I would suggest you to contact their customer support at http://www.newsoftwares.net/contact.html

We cannot help you with working around a forgotten password. I can offer this- try their customer support.

Often, the Caps Lock key will be enabled when it shouldn't, which could affect your password, or you need some lower case instead of upper case letter combination. Keep trying..

I dunno........I ran into this software a few years back, and it was rather buggy.....I ran into the exact same issues she is having, but luckily I was just testing it still, only copied files in there.......when I found my password wouldn't unlock it, I just betamaxed the issue and never looked back.

Hi valis- Good point about these encryption programs! Never work with the originals, always make backups first and remove them from the computer onto external media as you never know what will happen in the next 10 seconds.

Debbie5162- If your problem is not a password issue you can continue- apparently you had not made backups of files you locked or encrypted?
