Angry Intel Create & Share Software Upgrade
I am looking for the software download for the intel create & share software for the pocket pc camera. I know you can purchase this from intel, but there is also a website that has it to download free. The problem I have is I can't locate it now and last time I didn't write it down. I know the word shaw is in the web addie. Does anyone have any idea what the addie is??

Hiya and welcome

Have you seen this:

Quote:

For customers who have purchased an Intel Pocket PC Camera, Intel Pro PC Camera, Intel Deluxe PC Camera or Intel Easy PC Camera (Version 4.0) between September 1, 2001 and August 1, 2002, Intel is pleased to provide the Intel Create & Share Upgrade CD for FREE. Click here for more information and to order.

However, the CD itself is just $5.95

Sure ... it´s redirected to http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scri...port_intel.asp .

Once there, if you start search thru the search field or browse thru the left menu i´ll find the same answers :

1st.: if you paid in the past for the upgrade, Intel had forgot
it and you must pay again

2nd.: if you´re not in US, you´ll not be able to buy it

I would also love to get my hands on a free copy of the upgrade cd, if anyone knows.

Thanks,
John
