i recently installed the trial versions of this software and after checking them out decided i didn't want them. i have tried uninstalling the products but the uninstaller just hangs and doesnt work. it just sits there with zero progress on the unindtalling progress bar. i'm running windows7. can someone please tell me how to uninstall these programs manually. thanks. i need the walkthrough on how to remove them from the registry too

i managed to ununstall it myself. using spycatcher and ghostsurf as keywords in regedit. i also deleted the shortcuts and the program folders manually. then i had to restart windows to delete the last couple of files as two of them were blocked because they were open and couldnt be shut down in taskmanager. once restarted they could be deleted. i havent been able to find any other remnants since then and no ill effects when starting the computer. and no traces left in the registry

I had there software in the pass and even had every program they had that I got free from them at another site but had trouble with them later and so did others so I stopped using everything from them. I still have keys to some I never used because I won more then one copy but again I don't want the software or can I trust spycatcher that was full of thing I knew were false.

So glad you got it all taken off.

Never hurts to ask others when it comes to AV and Malware programs because to many really bad ones out there also.
