Screen Record Full Screen Batch?
Hi,

Recently I tried to screen record a batch script in full screen, and it did not work. Any ideas why? And do you know of any programs that may? I screen recorded in Camtasia, and all it did was (in video) display the windowed mode.

Your words are appreciated,

John

Now that is cool. Didn't know they had that.

I have always used Wink in the past.

Not sure why Camtasia isn't working for you. I have used that in the past as well with XP and didn't have any problems. I switched to Wink because of it additional capabilities.

Wink did not help.

When ever I hit Pause to take a screen shot, and I'm not sure why I couldn't just screen record, it would send my batch script into windowed mode again. Any other suggestions?

You have to look through the options for Wink. You can have it take the screen shots on mouse clicks or even at intervals.

Yes, but whenever it takes a screen shot, it minimizes the batch script. I'd rather not have that.

It minimizes the CMD prompt to the taskbar? I have never seen that happen.

I see now. You set the CMD prompt Properties to Full Screen Mode.

Yeah, that isn't going to work for screen recording apps.

Dang. Thanks anyway...

Just resize the Window as much as you can and then set the Wink record box to just the black part of the cmd window. That is what I would do. Or I would run XP inside a VM and then set the VM to full screen and then have Wink record the VM.
