How to prevent MagicJack Logo at Startup?
I have a magic jack that seems to work fine except it is annoying at start up.
The software always pops up at start up and the software initilizes. Is there
a way to keep their logo from starting at start up? Maybe have it starts only
when I pick the desktop icon?
Thank you,

Easy enough. Press Windows + R to bring up a Run Box, and type MSConfig. Go to the startup tab.
Find MagicJack and uncheck it. Restart, it won't load until you actually start it.

Note: if you're using Windows XP you'll get a message telling you what you already know: some startup entries haven't loaded. Just check the don't tell me again box.

I tryed that. I did not find magic jack in the start up listing. Maybe the have it under
a different name that I can't identify. So that does not work?

Press alt+prntscreen on yor keyboard. This will copy the active Window to the clipboard. Open up Paint and paste it into there and save it as a jpeg.

I have a Magic Jack but don't use it often It does not start when Windows starts. If memory serves me there should be a setting in the software to keep it from starting when Windows starts.

If you uncheck cdloader then try to use Magic Jack form the desk top icon it does not work.
Majic jack maked a cdloader2 when the computer is restarted. I tryed to use XP restore and that
resulted in a big blue screen. I had to reinstall windows.
Any other suggestions?

I also tried this and am having to reinstall XP pro as I type (on a different computer). From now on, I will just leave it unplugged until we want to use it

How would you run it as a service?

I wonder if it would run on an older laptop. Maybe
use it on a older computer that I don't use much? Wonder what the requirements
are as far as hardware?
Thank you,
