firefox was installed on my computer to allow me to fully use some web sites. after two weeks of nothing but problems i removed it. i have not tried to replace it. it was one of those thing where i felt i was better off without it.

you are at a great place to start looking. one of the beauties of this site is you don't have to post a question and wait for some one to help you. you can seek someone out to help.

just browse the different forums. there are many tech savy people on this site. just click on their icon and it will allow you to ask them your question.

these are wonderful poeple. i have never had anyone not respond to my question.

good luck. you will get your problem solved here.

my browser is this whole site...you can just wallow in it...
go to the top of the page...click on hardware & software...then click on all other software..scroll down...
there is another person having problems with firefox...
click in the name of peterh40...you will see ask a question in private...click there and ask...
i am sure he will respond...
then...scroll back up the page...you may click on every post(your not the only one with a problem)...
above all read the responses to the questions...look for someone which you can understand and/or feel comfortable with...ask them your question...

you can do this with every section on this site...just browse, scroll, cilck and look...above all just your question ask...

everybody is here to help..so ask your question...

i am always looking for answer too..

Start Firefox in the safe mode.

Got to start, Programs, Mozilla Firefox, Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode) and click on it.
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_Mode

When the box comes up ONLY press the "Continue in Safe Mode" button.
This will start Firefox without the plug-ins and add-ons.

If your trouble goes away then is is one of the add-ons that is your trouble. So disable all of them and and close FF and then turn one on at a time and close and open FF and go to the sites you have trouble with. If all is OK turn another add-on back on till you see the trouble and then your find what add-on is your trouble.
