Solved: Video transfer from Sony Handycam Using Windows 7
I have a Sony digital DV handycam DCR-HC20 that I want to transfer video to my Windows 7 computer. I understand USB not compatable for doing so (pretty dumb if you ask me since XP was great) and Sony said to get i.LINK cable and go that route. I don't mind doing that but is that really the only route? I even thought about going AV out of my handycam.

If it's tape then firewire is the only way to transfer.
