But the main Question is that the old version of Auslogics Defrag tells me how fast the computer has increased by, but the new one just tells me how much fragged stuff has been defragged...

How do i find out the percentage increase?

The percentages are estimates and wild guesses at best.

Any defragger is fine. Just make sure to stick with one so they don't conflict with one another. Turn off the scheduled Windows defrag, too.

I have used Auslogics Defrag program and found it to be very fast and a big improvement on Windows' built in defragger.

Try the separate Boost Speed program from Auslogics for speed improvement statistics.

I use it on my Vista machine with pretty good results, but on my XP machine I use the UltimateDefrag Free Edition.
Sadly for me it doesn't seem suited to Vista.

the estimates on how fast the computer is now-- is just indicative and nowhere close to the real situation, how much defrag has been done, or how much frags are left are the real indicator
