Blue Screen Error message - Vista
When I turn on my Compaq Presario F700 it tells me my computer has failed to start and to launch start up repair. when i do that it tells me that
"A PROBLEM HAS BEEN DETECTED AND WINDOWS HAS BEEN SHUT DOWN TO PREVENT DAMAGETO YOUR COMPUTER.PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

IF THIS IS THE FIRST TIME YOU'VE SEEN THIS STOP ERROR SCREEN, RESTART YOUR COMPUTER. IF THIS SCREEN APPEARS AGAIN, FALLOW THESE STEPS:

CHECK TO MAKE SURE ANY NEW HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE IS PROPERLY INSTALLED. IF THIS IS A NEW INSTALLATION, ASK YOUR HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE MANUFACTURER FOR ANY WINDOWS UPDATES YOU MIGHT NEED.

IF PROBLEMS CONTINUE, DISABLE OR REMOVE ANY NEWLY INSTALLED HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE. DISABLE BIOS MEMORY OPTIONS SUCH AS CACHING OR SHADOWING. IF YOU NEED TO USE SAFE MODE TO REMOVE OR DISABLE COMPONENTS, RESTART YOUR COMPUTER, PRESS F8 TO SELECT ADVANCED STARTUP OPTIONS, AND THEN SELECT SAFE MODE.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
*** STOP: 0X00000050 (0X885FFFFC, 0X00000000, 0X8F8839C8, 0X00000000)"

When i restart my computer to fallow the instructions to restart and go into safe mode my computer just turns its self off and restarts to the original page telling me to launch start up repair. My question is can i fix this problem or do i need to take it to a repair shop and have them fix it? thank you.
