logitech touchmouse problem

Hey, I've just installed the logitech touch mouse server on my computer. The server is not visible on the ipod touch but it can connect if I type in the IP. I get a semisteble connection to the server, but i can only move the mouse a little bit and then It doesn't move again. The Wi-Fi router is on a different port of the main router than my computer. I have used this properly in the past. The computer with the server program is running win 7, and cannot see anything on the rest of the network other than the main router. Any pointers on how to get it working again. thanks in advance
