IBook G+ kingston 256GB stick-The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer

I recently purchased a kingston DT310, 256GB data stick and I'm trying to use it on my Ibook G4 but the device is not recognized, when i click initialize it takes me to the first aid page but it not letting me click repair or any other options.. anyone have any ideas how i can make this work on my computer?

Also the same problem on the new macbook
