Smile How I Cut the Grass!
This is how I actually cut the grass, Chalky!

I think it is actually Sickle, Candy, although I quite like the machette idea, too!

In reality, I have to cut the grass, trim a hedge which is circa 45 feet long , trim some trees, the list is endless............ I feel tired just thinking about it!

See you all soon.

The trick is, Candy, to make sure they both go in the same line!

It's when they start drifting apart, that it becomes rather painful!

Certainly have, Bill! And Mrs P, too. Also, for the moment, we have extensive travel insurance with Amex. Expensive, but worth it.

The problem arises when we retire, to France, in a few years..............

Nice Easter.

I thank all here who have talked with me but now it is time to move on. I hope all of you have and live a life with God and the word. I have decided to get up off the porch and call in the dogs and sit by the fire as the sun fades away. This is where I say goodbye as the docs say I have a year maybe two with Lou Gehrig's disease. It will allow time to take its toll on this body at 37. I look forward to spendng time with all those i love. I want to find peace between those that I have hurt so that good can triumph. When death arrives I will gladly welcome him with open arms as i can pass from this world to the next. God bless you all and your families.

PS: The world will have one less offender..........................

Cirrus, it looks as though you have made peace with your death. At the end, your Savior awaits you, remember that. Today is Good Friday. He shed His own blood to cover all of your sins...you can go to Him, pure and spotless and with boldness if you have trusted Him. As a believer, to die is to gain. Its not a sentimental platitude, but a rock-solid assurance. He conquered death once and for all so that you and I can also conquer eternal death through Him! As you near the end....keep your eyes on Him and He will not disappoint you.

May God bless and keep you for the rest of your days, Cirrus. I cant wait to meet you face to face some day in that beautiful place.

Difficult to reply to your post Cirrus. To find words that may help. As Val says you have done the right thing in making your peace with In the past 12 months I have had to witness two very close friends be hospitalised with terminal diagnosis, and eventually pass peacefully away. Now another good friend and colleague has limited time left. Only last Christmas we were in Rome together having a jolly.

Many years ago I diagnosed my very good wife as possibly having ALS. Fortunately I and a colleague were wrong. She has MS and has been in remission now for six years.

Keep ya chin up Cirrus. Take and enjoy to the full each and every day that is left to you. And the odd glass of wine or two won't do any harm

Kind regards - Oldie

Cirrus: I'm so sad to hear of your news. Please know you will be in my thoughts and prayers as you face the road ahead. And don't think of yourself as one less offender...I truly believe if you have made your peace with God you will see a better place when your time on earth is through. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow...so most of us don't get the chance to make peace with our families, friends, God...you have that chance and I'm glad you'll use it wisely. Words seem so inadequate here Cirrus....please take care of yourself and live each day to its fullest. Take care and God bless you! Marlene (angel) ((((HUGS))))
