Thumbs up He's back!!!!
Hubby is back home finally. Thank God! He was only working out of town for 10 weeks but it seemed like forever! The next job will be 90 miles away (one way) but its only for a couple of weeks and he will be home every night so we are pretty happy!

Thanks to everyone who pmmed/emailed me to encourage me when I was brooding over it. I'm so glad to have him home again. Maybe I can start sleeping normally again.

I dont know how any of you single mom's do it but I have gained an immense respect for all of you single parents out there.

Being Mom and Dad to William can be trying....no matter what only I can be the baddie if he needs discipline...but there is more love than anything! Thanks for the respect! I'm so glad you get to have your hubby near every day and night now! Take care and and have a great weekend! Marlene *hugs*

Hi Val,

Glad you are so happy .... sounds like the end to the away time has been a long time coming

yep, one of the draw back to the single parenting is " home (land) security " ........ but I found that a baseball bat within reach helps since being in Canada we have such strict gun laws

lol.....we dont have such laws...and I sleep within a few feet of hubby's gun cabinet but it still didnt make me feel as secure as I am when he is here. It also didnt help that my next door neighbor got robbed a few weeks ago. They took his 2 jet skis and the trailer right out of his driveway while he was in bed sleeping! Man, you cant even be safe in the boonies!

Thanks and thanks to you too Angel

Hey thanks, you all

Cloe....I agree that she is amazing, especially knowing how you turned out! I have a friend who's husband is a captain in the Army. He's in Iraq and has been there since the war started. He just found out that he wont be home before April! And they have only been married for a year! It's hard enough on her but I cant imagine what it would be like if they had kids too! Our soldiers sacrafice so much more than we give them credit for sometimes......as do the wives and moms that are left behind when they are called to duty.

Bea...is your cold any better?
