Country music singer Johnny Cash dead at 71
NEW YORK - Legendary country music singer Johnny Cash has died at a hospital in Nashville, Tenn., his manager says. He was 71.

Cash had recently been released from a hospital after being treated for an unspecified stomach ailment.

His wife, June Carter Cash, died in May of complications from heart surgery.

Known as "The Man in Black", his hits included Ring of Fire and A Boy Named Sue.

My mom loved to listen to Johnny Cash, me too!! Gonna have to get his newest albums. His melancholy voice could just cut through to your soul. You just believed every word he said.
