Hi All. I'd just like to let you know that today is the 20th anniversary of my last cigarette.

Any suggestions as to how I should celebrate?
On January 1st 1985, I made a resolution to stop smoking sometime during that year. I made no attempt to stop smoking on that day, but what I did do was to start analyzing the habit, and just generally thinking about the whole activity of smoking.
Then, on July 29th, I was on a flight between the Canadian cities of Calgary and Winnipeg. You could still smoke on domestic flights back then. I booked a seat in the smoking section and enjoyed a couple of cigarettes on the flight. When the flight ended in Winnipeg, it just seemed to be the right time to quite. I took my pack of cigarettes out of my pocket and placed them on my seat as I departed the plane. That was my last one. And, I have never been temped to pick up the habit again.
