I'll tell you how stupid customers can be. This happened on Christmas Eve. We have a new car sale and it ends on Dec.31st. If some one commits to buying one of our new cars we will show him / her the invoice, yes the actual invoice we have from the mfg, and add $1.00 to the price. A customer and his lovely wife drove the car and wanted to negotiate the price. I told him because we advertised the sale we can't sell it for more than the buck over but he was insistent he be able to barter. The fools wanted to pay us less than what we paid for it. They left saying they had to think about it and would probably be back after Christmas. Ya right.... as if customers don't lie.
Psssssst....... Buyers are liars.
I've been saying for years that people just don't know a good deal when they see one.

What I hate is when you show the customer all your goods, unpack them, and they leave without saying thank you.

Exactly how I feel about some clients. I've had clients with the attitudes of Davec and Bassetman, I just add an aggravation multiple to the bill. And I tell them upfront that I'm doing it and if they don't like it the yellow pages are full of lawyers go hire one of them. Imagine having a moron hiring you while they tell you how much they hate lawyers. I had one about 12 years ago with really big BIG problems, got him out of it but he couldn't pay his bill so I took a lien against his house. Gave him two years to start paying on the bill and of course he didn't. He felt like he had paid enough. I put his arse on the street. Of course the lawyer who represented him to try and stop me made him pay upfront.

People like Davec and Bassetman, while an aggravation, usually make my year profit wise.
