A customer and his lovely wife drove the car and wanted to negotiate the price. I told him because we advertised the sale we can't sell it for more than the buck over but he was insistent he be able to barter. The fools wanted to pay us less than what we paid for it. They left saying they had to think about it and would probably be back after Christmas. Ya right.... as if customers don't lie.
Psssssst....... Buyers are liars.
I've been saying for years that people just don't know a good deal when they see one.

OH GIVE ME A BREAK! Do you REALLY THINK that the boss gives you the bottom line? Geesh, if they are really selling it for a $1 over what they paid for it, what is IN IT FOR YOU, THE SALES PERSON?

That is why I failed in my only business venture.
No, wait ..I thought you meant 'philanthropy', which in small business terms means "extention of credit"

It sucks to be nice in business, bottom line.

But now I'm a professional customer, and you'd better be nice if you want my business.

I do not recall watching any Sopranos' espisode. I do not recall that.
