#739 | Good day ladies and gent(s) I prepared my first turkey dinner on Easter Monday in probably 8 years which I was unable to accomplish due to my lung health issues, I just couldn't stand, prepare, walk etc. My turkey didn't cook as quick as I had planned and if it wasn't for warming things up in my neighbor's oven - I would have been up the creek as it were! It was a long day, but, the best news for me was I was able to do it and that felt great!
I was in to Toronto on Tuesday for blood work and all is well. I received word that I will be on the valcyte for one more month and then see what happens when I go off the medication with the CMV?
I am also being weened back on my prednisone during this month. I will keep you poosted.
Thanks all.

#749 | I will be going to Toronto to Clinic on Monday. I called them 2 weeks ago that my breathing test numbers have been declining for months and have not come back up since my last lung infection. I heard nothing back but on Tuesday this week I had my PFT breathing test done in St. Catharines (monthly routine), and my numbers had decreased again. She sent the results off to Toronto and I then followed up with a call on Wed. morning and received a message back that they want to see me in clinic on Monday next week and I'm to have blood work, x=ray, and PFT's before clinic.
I hope all is ok, but I am a bit concerned. Time will tell.
* Lu
