Hello Lu. I hope it's not a long-term problem for you, but something that can be sorted quickly. Good luck with the visit to the hospital. Best wishes from Me and The Gang. Take care.

Very much appreciated grandma! I am beginning to wonder if the second bout of lung infection was because the first time it was not gotten rid of thoroughly? I am wondering this as I am coughing again.

Thanks so much Dave; just one of those bumps in the road right now. The CMV is also something that will be looked at.

I will be staying in Toronto overnight on Monday as I have been scheduled to have a Bronc on Tues. morning; when they take samples they can better determine if anything is growing that shouldn't be. As much as I dislike them they are beneficial.
* Hugs Lu

I got back from Toronto today (Tuesday) around 4:00 pm. I will not get results from the bronc biopsy etc. until probably Monday Apr 28th when I have clinic. I was told they suctioned fluids from my lungs ?????? I didn't think to as what this was from. I have questions for them come Monday!
I'm trying not to get nervous or upset until I hear the answers.

I did call when I got home today about my blood work and CMV results and all my blood work was well within acceptable ranges and my CMV was negative again. There is talk of taking me off the Valcyte at the end of this month. hmmmmm time will tell!

I'll keep you posted.

Hopefully the fluid was left over from the infection you had...I am no dr but that would be nice. With your bloodwork being good and no CMV I pray everything else turns out good as well. Many prayers being said for you. HUGS
