Sooky Lu is home......
11 February 15, 2007 at 08:10 PM EST

This update is for Lu

Well, I arrived home very safely on Valentines Day.

Each day I become a little stronger and more confident within myself.
As everyone has said one day at a time.

I would like to thank every one for all the messages posted to my care page and for all the lovely cards that were sent during my hospital stay.

Your messages, notes and prayers were greatly appreciated.

As soon as I am strong and regained my computer skills, I will be talking to all of you.

Latest from Luanne's CarePage!

February 18, 2007 at 10:16 AM EST

Hi Everyone ........ It's Sunday, AM/ just finished meds etc. and will post this for now. Just know until I can respond individually to each of you and say thanks it has filled my heart, and means so much to read even a few postings. Luckily for me/ while I was in the hospital Judy copied off some of the care pages for me to be able to read/ and they were wonderful!
Wednesday was my discharge day from the hospital, and it was arranged that my Dad and Roy would come and get me. Becky went on Tuesday and collected my coat/purse/etc. and took them to my Dad's to pack in the car for my ride home. WELL...... 8am that morning, my Dad calls in a panic because they are snowed in. There is no safe way they could make it up past Hamilton/Burlington. I will keep this at the short version/ so suffice to say thank God for my 2 angels that day.
JUDY and MYRNA.
They came to Toronto that day (also for the special meeting) and
got all the running around done for the meds/ helped pack me up/ gave me a coat/ and drove me home to Welland. There is a lot of "stuff" before being discharged from the hosp./ and they helped with it all.
God Bless Them.
Thanks to all who stopped by for a few minutes in Hosp. to say Hi/ bring a card etc/ and send good wishes and prayers. I don't want to give individual names incase I forget someone. I'm still foggy for a week in time plus. Thank you to the people who stepped up as care people when my family couldn't be there all the time.
It's all in my heart. For all who gave me help and support, before, during and afterwards - thank you2!

I have Clinic tomorrow/ I will keep you posted!
Bye for now.
* Hugs Lu
