We knew he wasn't doing well, and Heather and I were on our way to Pittsburgh last night when we got the news that he didn't have much time left. He died about 10 minutes after we arrived.

What a testimony to the sanction of marriage your grandparents had - over 60 years is wonderful. I pray God blesses your Grandmother and your immediate family in this time of loss.
As difficult as it must have been, I am thankful to hear you were able to be with him at the end. And BTW - Mercy is an awesome hospital, I'm sure he had excellent care.
