John Glenn Howis
My grandfather passed away last night at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. We knew he wasn't doing well, and Heather and I were on our way to Pittsburgh last night when we got the news that he didn't have much time left. He died about 10 minutes after we arrived.

The saddest part, of course, is my grandmother. They had been married for over 60 years.

Mike: I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. What a testimony to the sanction of marriage your grandparents had - over 60 years is wonderful. I pray God blesses your Grandmother and your immediate family in this time of loss.

As difficult as it must have been, I am thankful to hear you were able to be with him at the end. And BTW - Mercy is an awesome hospital, I'm sure he had excellent care.
