Thank you, thank you, thank you everyone. This was a very nice surprise. It is a beautiful day here in lower slower Delaware. Went to church with my husband and sang a duet together. Then had a nice dinner. All my children called and wished me a happy birthday...was a wonderful day all around. God bless you all.

Ive not had the pleasure to meet you Grandma, but I hope your day was wonderful. Ive lost all of my grandparents.. Sadly miss every one of them. Specially my 2 grandmothers I was very close to. You are still young.. wow with 12 grandchildren! Good for you, I bet they help keep you young~~~ Happy Birthday.

Nice meeting you Ashes@work....My oldest child will be 36 this month...youngest is 30 and they have given me wonderful grandkids....it is so much fun being a grandma....I love it!! I have been blessed. Had a wonderful day and even some of the grandkids called and sang happy birthday to me. Back when I was young most girls were married not long after high school...didn't wait like they do now. So I am a young grandma I guess. My husband was going into his third year of college when we got married. Had our first child 10 months later.

I too have lost my grandparents, as well as my parents. I was about your age when my dad died. Mom died about 10 years ago. I miss my mom now more than ever. I cherish all my memories of them as I am sure you do yours. I went to a lady in my church and asked her if I could adopted her as my grandmother and I have brought her to mother/daughter banquets and stuff and she has gotten a kick out of it. Have a wonderful week...God Bless

By the way, my best friend just moved from Cleveland Ohio. She lives in Nashville Tennessee now.

Glad to see you back online. Lost my computer Feb 2006 for a couple of weeks. I know the feeling. Thank God I had an Angel that replaced it for me. Have "fun" as you play catch up.
