Schuee has gone
Penny......( tuppence 2 ) lost her little dog schuee to an illness on Thursday.

Rainbow Bridge.

Just this side of heaven is a place called the Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies, that has been especially close to

Someone here, that pet goes to the Rainbow Bridge. There

are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can

Run and play together. There is plenty of food ,water, and sunshine. And our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who have been ill and old are restord to health and vigor;

those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and

times gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing

- they each miss someone very special to them who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks up into the distance. His bright eyes are intent:his eager body begins to quiver.

Suddenly he begins to run from the group. Flying over the green green gress, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in

joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face, your hands again caress tha beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of you pet, so long gone from your life but never absent in your heart.

Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together ..............

Oh, Penny .............
I'm so sorry to have just read this - I just sent off an e-mail to you without mention of Schuee's passing because I didn't know. I know how special each of "The Gang" is to you and the hole that will be there because of his passing. Thinking of you my friend.

Thank you very much, everyone, for thinking of me and little Schuee. I miss him so much, already. I be having his ashes back to bury in the garden, when he loved to be. The poem is lovely, Frank. Thank you for posting it and Schuee's photo.

Penny

p.s. Don't worry, Lu. I got your email, thanks, and will reply over the weekend.

Dear Penny,So very sorry to read this news, know just how much you love your dogs ....the tears flowed as I read it,because I know full well how you must be feeling right now,its as if part of you dies too...so glad he is coming back to you to be part of the garden you love so much...take care dear Penny...sincere thoughts ...Bob

TREASURED FRIEND
I lost a treasured friend today
The little dog who used to lay
His gentle head upon my knee
And share his silent thoughts with me...
he'll come no longer to my call
Retrieve no more his favourite ball
A voice far greater than my own
Has called him to His golden throne.
Although my eyes are filled with tears,
I thank Him for the happy years
He let him spend down here with me
And for his love and loyalty.
When it is time for me to go
And join him there, this much I know...
I shall not fear the transient dark
For he will greet me with his bark.
