Dont Forget Clocks Go Back Tonight
For UK members primarily your clocks need to be put back 1 hour when you go to bed tonight so you get an extra hours sleep have an idea this also might be true for some Canada/USA members too but not sure about that...

For those unlucky enough to have to work on Sunday THIS IS A MUST,dont you want you arriving at work an hour early

LOL... makes travel confusing at times when you are crossing time zones but arriving in states that don't participate. I'm never sure what time it is then

Am i right in saying that Day light saving was introduced so people in the old days didn't have to go travel to work in the dark? This is what someone told me once.

Thanks for the reminder though!

How can it be daylight savings time on different weekends and in different countries? I thought it all happened worldwide at the same time?

I had my vcr set to tape a show on Monday morning (here in California) from 10:00 to 11:00. The vcr automatically reset the time (back an hour) for me and the vcr didn't tape the right show because our time doesn't change until this coming weekend

Oh dear! you need Sky +

I don't think the whole world does change their clocks because i new someone from South Africa and he come over here a couple of years ago. I told him that the clocks are going back and he said "what?! you can't change the time!" Which is an understandable response from someone who has never heard of it before.

I cant wait. I really could use that extra hour of sleep!

It was funny on Monday (after the fact). I use my Palm Pilot as my alarm clock...it automatically set itself for daylight savings time and I didnt realize it. I woke up at 7:15 and the bus comes to get the kids at 7:23 am, like clockwork! I had them ready to go in 5 minutes flat! Of course the alarm went off at 7:30 and not 6:30. I fixed that in a hurry!

In Canada it used to be the last Sunday in October but that all changed with new legislation that took effect in 2007 so now it's the first Sunday in November and the second Sunday in March which is the same as in the States.

So don't forget to change those clocks tonight.

This change is suppose to help save electric or something. All I know is someone woke me this morning at 6:30 am to let me know I could sleep one more hour tonight.

I was just thinking about something...........what if you posted on a thread here during the hour that you "turned back"??? Would that post be gone? I guess most people don't post during the middle of the night when the time changes, but I'm sure someone did?
