One of my teenage heros. He was a wild man for sure. I am saddened.

There are a ton of his jumps, both successful and unsuccessful on youtube. I actually did a search on Evel a few months back to see what had become of him. I was shocked to see the condition he was in.

He was larger than life and the inspiration for a few of my own bumps and bruises. I never broke any bones doing my Evel impersonations but I had a friend that did. He was a kid's hero and a parent's nightmare. I was too old to want his stunt set toys, I wanted to be Evel.

RIP Robert Craig "Evel Knievel". I'll always remember him. It is a wonder he didn't die years ago to be honest.

Evel was the shizz in the 70's. He was everywhere. I still have my "Evel" scars. I just can't let Evel fade into obscurity.

He was part of my life, I watched WWoS just to see if Evel would make it or not. I have an extreme respect for Robert Craig "Evel" Knievel. This dude was a for sure living superman. I love ya Evel.
