Just wanted to share my good news
Hi, again, everyone:

Just wanted to share w/the community that I found out on Wed. (4/23/08), that I had won one of the scholarships that my school gives away each quarter.

It was only for $500.00 but, it helps out a lot when you have to pay for some of your education.

You have to work hard to receive any scholarships at all ....... so don't minimize your achievement! Congratulations on a job well done!

Congratulations

500 dollars can go a long way...especially if you buy your books on half.com. And this is certainly NOT an advertisement. I just felt your pain a few years ago, that's all

Why to go

A lot of times it's easier to win the smaller awards because the larger group of students are trying for the big payout scholarship. My son concentrated on the $500 - $1,000 awards and did very well. Less competition and sometimes less requirements, meaning more of them can be completed.

Anyway......good job
