Thanks everybody. It is just a day.

Next year it won't be. I'll turn 50 and I have dreaded that. Life moves along pretty fast and mine is moving faster all the time.

Yep, next year I'll be old.

Oh... don't be such a big baby about turning 50 next year! You do know the alternative, right?

You are only as old as you feel... or as old as someone feeling you... or something like that! So... stand back.... take a deep breath... look in that mirror again.... and know that it doesn't matter how old you are or how old you think you look or how far you think you are from what you think is the perfect age for you.... someone loves you anyway! Okay? In fact... I bet a lot of people love you and you don't even have a clue!

And remember... everyone you know is getting older at the same rate as you are... some may look better doing it -- blasted genes or is it jeans or something like that! So.... just start taking better care of yourself! Make each day count and worry about how you feel and look from the inside....

I think you're hot..... for an 'old' guy! Come on.... smile! Yeah... That's better!

Thanks Karen. You know, I grumble about change at times. I use the blue skin because it is TSG to me. But...........when I logged in today there was this.

Even I liked that.

Hey you almost nearly but not quite hardly yet 'old' geezer...
I missed it too...
not suprising, I nearly missed my last birthday too...and gladly would have if people hadn't kept reminding me...
So with deepest respect for you, my friend, I'm just gonna forget about it!
And advise you to do the same!
there's always next year!
