It is amazing -- we should celebrate somehow. Give the 500,000th user something special?

The sad truth is that most of the 500,000 users never visit. Maybe it's time to send a reminder email to those who haven't been here in a long time. Most people join, post a question, and forget about us!

Ya beat me to it...I've been keeping an eye out for a couple of days now....

As an aside, I posted something a couple of years ago that tried to put a time line to that count. Oh well right on TechGuy....

Surely other sites have the same, especially techsites, most people register and after problem is solved (or not) they never come back,
So your site must be the best and you got the best helpers here, Mike

It wont be one of those flash things that drive a person crazy will it....you are the 500,000 member to join flashing 30 times a second with a bee coming in from the side...might scare them away.

For what its worth I have been the 10,000 visitor to a few sites for a few days straight...i guess 10,001 never showed up.

I could use a new desktop...if a prize is awarded..I will buy my nephew a new game to join at the appropriate time

No! No! I can just see all e-mails that would generate for problems logging in.

Well it wouldn't be another account for me, How about I create another account for a friend or family member?..... I think my dog could use one.
