My condolences to his friends and family. I did not know him, but I knew his user name. Seems to me that I knew his name from other help forums as well, starting when I got my first computer years ago.

Sure enough, Whitphil was a member at VirtualDr forums. I know he is one of the folks who gave me much help at that forum years ago. Thank you sir.

I had the pleasure of "meeting" WhitPhil online years ago at a couple
of other forums dealing with Win98. I considered him an early mentor
in this game and always enjoyed seeing his posts. Very sorry to hear
the news he is gone and I, for one, will miss him.

I wasn't aware that WhitPhil was battling cancer, and I just received notification of his passing.

We both were promoted to "Trusted Advisor" about a year ago, so we had a common bond here.

He will be missed.

Such a loss- he was a very respected member here and at many places I am sure.

Rest in Peace, Phil.
