We see those temperatures ever few years, including this year. We got to -16C (3F) a couple of weeks ago.

The ice age is coming, so much for global warming!

In the first 10 days of January this year we had a total temperature of -82F - included in there are a day when it was -25F (-32C) and the next day when it was a warm -23F (-31C).
Oh, and that doesn't really describe it, because we had strong north winds most days - have had most of the winter - two days after it was -23, it was up to -2F (-18C) but the winds gusted up to 32mph with snow.
Wimps, both of ya!

Oh, we just laugh at the people up in North Dakota and Minnesota - it gets REALLY cold up there! (Besides, our brains freeze and we don't realize how dumb we are to stay here!)

I'll stay in wimp land, thank you. It's more than cold enough for me right here! I'm sick of winter and that damned groundhog saw it's shadow too!

Well John, we haven't had a huge snow like you since December 23...only a few inches now and then otherwise. And we missed out on a great ice storm! Darn!!!
