Question Solved: stsrt up disk
i have a old power mac G4 but do not have the system install disk, any help.

Depends on what your question is. Can you clarify?

I am going to assume you would like to reformat your mac to a clean install of OSX. If you don't have the system install disks, you can't use anyone else's if that's what you're asking. The only way to reinstall OSX is if you have the original install disks that came with the computer. Or, I guess you could buy a copy of OSX yourself, but that's not cheap.

Make sure it is a universal disc and not one specific to a single Mac model.
(Usually machine specific DVDs are grey or silver)
