Question An e-mail question for the mac gurus...
We are having some kind of problem with our mac E-mail. When we click on "Display all accounts and preferances" we keep getting an error. It says "Script error. File wasn't found. Do you want to edit this script?"

If we say yes a script appears... but we are clueless as to what to do to fix it

We were thinking about deleting the e-mail account in question, but we don't know how to try...

Can someone point us in the right direction? Thanks...

Flashback, sorry, have not much of any ideas at the moment. Is this your ".mac" account, or a different service/provider? If the former, do they have any kind of help support for this system? BTW, what does the script say when it appears?

It is the standard e-mail program that comes with a Mac. We clicked on mail, and then the little script icon in the menu bar on top, and then where it says "Display All Accounts And Preferences". It starts to run but then half way through it gives us the script error.

It says "File library:mail:MessageSorting.plist not found. Do you want to edit this script? (yes or no)."

Is there a way to delete the e-mail account, or maybe edit it? We can't even find how to do that....

OK I was playing around with this today and here is some more things that I learned. I found where you are 'supposed' to be able to delete the e-mail accounts at, but it is grayed out I have 5 e-mail accounts installed, and they are all working fine, but they are NOT listed anywhere. If I click on where it says "Mailboxes" all I see is the "In" box. It does not list the accounts separately

It must know there is more then one account because I'm getting mail for all 5 accounts, but why won't they show up separately? Shouldn't I be able to click on an individual account and get mail for just that account?
