Home page
I am visiting a friend with a Mac.She kindly allowed me to use her computer to access my mail and I also went on google for some info. She now claims that I have altered her home page in some way.Herdefault is www.att.net but whereas before it came up with news etc, it now appears with alot of blank space on the right and you have to scroll down a long way to get to the news pages. She is much less savvy about computers than even I am and I feel very bad about this as she is obvously istressed by the change. Can anyone advise me on how to get back to the way things were ? I would be very grateful for any advice.I did look at Internet preferences, the default seems to be msn but don't know how to find the history of home pages.

RE: Home Page
Launch the browser in question, press the [{Apple Command Key} + {,} (comma) at the same time] this will open the preferences for that browser and look in the general section for the Home Page listing and change it to the one that the end user wants. Hope this helps.

Internet Explorer. T Gal I launched explorer, I assume the apple command key is the one with an apple on it I pressed it plus the comma and what I got was a little box called auction manager.

RE: Internet Explorer on Apple
Then the key combination that you want is { Apple Key + ; } or launch Internet Explorer and go to the menu bar and select Explorer and choose Preferences you should see the Home Page listed under the Browser Display Section. Screen capture attached for visual purposes:

Hope this helps. Cheers.
