I think this is a virus or spyware on a PC, use the search function for (401 MPV Warning) and you can see all the threads. Don't know if any of the repairs will work on a Mac.

All prog.s for windows.
Thank you very much for responding so fast. The very first thing i did when i got the warning was look it up on google. That led me to a few other sites but this had the most suggestions. The only problem with what you are suggesting is that all the prog.s are for windows and none of them work for mac. So please if you know what this warning means, why i got it, and how i can prevent whatever is going to happen from happening, please respond.

Where did you get this warning? In a pop-up window on the Internet? If so, ignore it. It's BS. If you're using Safari for your browsing pleasure press Command-K (or Apple-K [same thing, different name]) to block pop-up windows.

There is no spyware for the MacOS. The OS requires you input an admin's password whenever software is installed, so there's no way for the insidious self-installing spyware that is currently ravaging our Wintel brethren's computers.

There is a program called Allume Internet Cleanup that claims to remove "spyware" from the Mac OS, but all it does is delete tracing cookies placed by ad servers and keystroke loggers. I've not used the program, but I've heard very little in the way of good things about it.

There's another program called Little Snitch that will prevent programs from connecting to the Internet (and, presumably, sending some company/government agency/alien life form/etc. personal info about you) without your permission.

Again, there really is no need for this type of thing on the Mac OS. It's one of the benefits of being on the minority platform: no one bothers to create malevolent code for it.
