Unhappy Please help my!!!!!!!
By mistake i have marked the box from ,,More info,,/Hard drive/ allowance. After a will ,i've restart my computer(Power Book G4 17" Super-drive ,bought in January)it do'snit want work anymore(i thing ,using a comparator,,i have locked the house and thruway the key ,, ) New for almost a month i'm trying to turn'it on but it's jest showing my the blue screen ,after it's starting. If i'm gonna use those discs what came in the box whit my computer ,i'm gonna lose everything from hard drive? Why i'm asking that? Because sometime a black screen appearing and i can read <<Darwin>> i'm trying to introduce the user name and password ,but i don't have time to finish, because it's disappearing fast as it was appearing.Last times i didn't got that black screen.I was using Windows till new and i know about BIOS , and i think DARWIN is the same for MAC. If anybody can advise my to fix this problem i appreciate that, thanks.

I want to help you. I really do. But I'm afraid I can't make out what the problem is. I'm very sorry.

Can anyone else understand what s/he's trying to relate?

At the very least try this: Turn on the computer, insert one of the DVDs that came with the computer, hold down "C" and see if it will boot from the DVD. If it doesn't try turning the computer off and then on again while holding down the "C" key.

Once the installer launches go to the File menu and select Disk Utility. Repair permissions and see what happens. You won't lose your data.

Also, you can reinstall the OS without losing the rest of your data.

Good luck to you!
