Ipod 10g (touch wheel dock model) won't load to desktop
Hi all. Help. I have an IPod 10G (touch wheel dock model) that will not load to desktop (Mac os x; Itunes 4.9). I have tried everything recommended on the Apple site (resetting; Disk mode;etc) and no good

The battery is fine; The Ipod works; All songs and playlists are intact; It charges fine...it just is not recognized by my (or others I've tried) Macs.

I'm thinking I need to update the IPod software, however, without being able to load, I can't.

The error message I get is that the computer can't recognize the disk, would I like to initialize, etc.

Can anyone help? This is my teen daughter's Pod and she is experiencing "Teen Drama" because she is so tired of the music on the Pod and would love to change it

Thanks in advance,
Rose
