Quicken for Mac nasty problems
Since switching from PC to iMac G4 w/512 I have had constant,
recurring and worsening problems w/Quicken: crashes, failures
in backup, etc. Intuit is, of course, unresponsive. Any echoes?

This probalby won't help much... but I'd say it's worth a shot... try reparing file permissions. If you have OS 10 (I've only used 10.3 and 10.4, so this should work on those) it is pretty easy, just run Disk Utility ( located in /Applications/Utilities ), select your boot partition and hit Repair File Permissions.

I've never used that exact software, but have had plenty of trouble with file permissions causing trouble. I learned from this...... after performing any software installation, I do a file permission repair. EVEN after software update installations, EVEN if they are software updates from the mighty fruit it's self.

If you're not running 10, I'm not sure how it's done. But I'm sure someone here does know.

If that fails try reinstalling quicken. Or even UNinstalling, and then reinstalling. And don't forget to do the file permission repair in there too
