Airport Ready
Hi! It's me again. I got a new imac g3/400. I was just wondering if there is a way to find out if my computer is airport ready. I have MAC OS X 10.2. Thanks, Tony

Apple Menu/About This Mac/More Info.../Network/AirPort Card

If it lists information about the card you have one. I seriously doubt that the iMac you describe does, but I've been wrong before. Once.

Ahhh... Sorry. I misunderstood. I thought you were asking if they shipped with them pre-installed. I think that was only an option via special-order direct from Apple (that's the thing about which I could have been wrong).

Now that we have that cleared up, let's proceed with what you were actually asking, instead of what I misread you to be asking...

The only two iMac G3s with 400 MHz processors on which I can find any information, the iMac "DV" and the iMac "DV" SE (Special Edition), are both AirPort Ready.

Here is a link to the "DV" and here is a link to the "DV" SE.

If neither of these sounds like your exact model you might want to chose from the myriad iMac models that appear on this page.

Hope that helps!
