Solved: Mac HD in a PC?
I know the Mac uses a IDE drive, and if wiped and reformatted I could use the drive in a PC. However I have a friend that has an old Mac system, needs alot of files off of it and I wanted to know if I could mount the Mac drive in the PC and pull them that way.

Also, what File System does Mac use right now?

There are apps for mouinting HFS drives in PC's:

TransMac
MacDrive

A free copy of HFV Explorer can be obtained here:

http://www.the-underdogs.org/tools/hfvexplorer.zip
or here:
ftp://ftp.rz.uni-kiel.de/pub/anaesth...e/Hdexp131.zip

Though this version was designed for 98/NT, it will probably also work from XP using the sys driver and not the vxd driver). The driver will need to be copied as you can read in the enclosed ReadMe file.
