ClarisWorks 4.0 Installation Problem
Hi! I'm running a power macintosh 5400/180. I just opened a brand new sealed clarisworks 4.0. It runs fine untill it asks for disk 5. I put disk 5 in, and it spits it back out? Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it? Thanks, Tony

make a file called clarisworks install on desktop...then insert each floppy then copy the contents of each floppy to that folder then run the installer icon from that folder. That should make it work. Otherwise the floppy is corrupt due to age. Could ask Apple if they have anything for it or friends........local Mac user group? If the disk 5 floppy will not mount under any circumstances the disk is corrupted.
