Lately, when I try to launch Painter 8, I am getting an error message:
"can not open file "Painter Dialogs". Can anyone assist?
I am running an IMac G5.

try this. Open your library folder on your hard drive then open the "preferences" folder and delete painter's prefs. Try that first and then post if it worked or not. You won't harm anything, it will build new default preferences in the old ones place.
