Home network
Help! I bought an IMac (love it) 6 months ago and have a problem.
A little background:
I've been trying to set wireless network.
I've got a D-Link router.
Here is my problem. I set up the network in System Preferences/network and everything works fine. Wireless laptop and Imac work fine. Then when the computer launches into sleep funtions I lose the Internet connections . Very frustrating. I am a beginner with computers so I'm wondering is there something else I need to do. The D-Link instructions don't show any other steps but there has to be something I am missing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

sleeping a Mac turns it off the network.....
sleeping a classic Mac disconnects it from the network. It is not likely under OS 9 to reconnect to the network upon waking up. Answer is to shut down your OS 9 Mac when not in use.
