Cool airport suggestion...
hi everybody, first of all forgive my english... (i'm italian and you should know what schools are like here )

the question is: may I use an airport computer-computer network to "talk" with mates?
(don't mean to exchange messages (BTW how do i do that?))
i mean speakin to the built in mic. and be heard...

complicated enough?!?

well, let me know, ok?
thanks

Airport is use for wireless network connectivity. It's different than talking to your mates.

Do you have a internet service now? if so what kind? how is it connected? I can get you chattingin no time. Jus t tell me as much as you can about what you are trying to do.

If you want to setup wireless or just the chat thing let us know we can help.

well, no... let me try to explain: already got a internet connection. i use a bluetooth umts mobile phone (nokia6630 ) as modem (and well not that kind of connection!!! when will we have a modem driver for this mobile? i use "nokia infrared"!!!...)

what i was thinking about, indeed, is about using my iBook G4
(1,33GHz 256MbRAM with built in airport and "microphone"...)
as a kind of intercom with a same MAC.

that'll be nice!!!

You use the phone for internet? or the Mac? does the mac have Bluetooth built in? If I assume you do connect with both, you just need a voice over internet program to do exactly what you want.
