Update to 10.4.0?
I I have updated my system which was 10.3.5 to 10.3.9. I really need to update to 10.4.0 and then to 10.4.4 etc.

How can I do this?

Current prices are in the $99 - $129 range. You will need a DVD drive. Good luck with that.

One bit of advice ... be sure your printer is supported before upgrading or you will wish you hadn't. if your printer isn't supported, and there are no open source drivers, perhaps you will want to reconsider, or at least wait until drivers for your printers are available.

The other alternative is to by a new printer now. Check for supported printers over at the Apple site on their support forum.

Other way to upgrade? Not freely or legally, you need to purchase tiger retail as suggested by Vegas

I have upgraded two of the three macs I have access to, and would say it is definitely worth it. With 10.5 Leopard on the horizon, it may be worth it to wait to see if that will be a free upgrade or one requiring another purchase.

Just my two cents.
