if i burn some .dmg files onto a CD to run on a Macintosh in my school, will it read the file if i burn it from a PC?

DMG is just a file format. What is on the disk wont run if it is not for a Mac. For example if you put some PC games as DMG files on the CD, The DMG will unload the EXE files ok, but they are not going to work on the Mac.
