Question Crash Recovery - Help
My G4-733Mhz recently crashed and I am getting back going with a new HD. I can access the original HD (as a slave) and most files and even some of the applications still work.

The OS and Safari are among the things that do not work. I could not reinstall the OS without reformatting the drive which would have wiped the accessible info.

Now my questions.

1. Where do I find the file with my Safari Bookmarks? I did a file search and find several Bookmark files, but they seem pretty small (about20kb). Which is the right path and file? When I find the correct file do I just replace the one on the new HD or will it "import" from Safari? I do have a somewhat simular favorites file on my PC that I can use, but if the Mac file would be preferable if available

2. What other OS files should I look for? I suppose that keychains is one. I found several keychains. Is the one in my user name path the correct one or do I need the others too? Do I just replace these on the new HD too?

Anything else I should replace from the old HD?

I do have almost all of the my programs on CD and recent backups on data etc, just not the OS stuff. I was also able to fine a renstall all the email and email address stuff.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
