MacBook pro airport not working with WinXP
I've used Boot Camp to install WinXP on my MacBook Pro, and everything seems fine, except the built-in Airport card won't connect to open wireless networks. It will detect them and display them in the list of available networks, but still no internet access. I know the card isn't defective because it works just fine using OSX. Anyone else run into this?

Well, guess ya can naw on this reply, however helpful it may be...

My best guess is that your router is not detecting the network to which the connection is being made, due to it being closed. Go to the admin utility of Airport, and change the appropriate setting there.
