Question Apple Word, clearning up white space
I'm trying to reduce the size of a Word document. Anyone know any handy tricks to have this process automated? The document has hard returns between paragraphs. I don't want to have a 1,000 page document that reads as one giant paragraph. I'd like to have no spaces between paragraphs, and the first line of the paragraph indented. I can't figure out how to do this with out going through the whole thing and manually taking out all of the hard breaks. Any suggestions greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I've not done such in Word, but I think you may be able to create a macro to help in this task:

Quote:
macro
A program you write or record that stores a series of commands that you can later use as a single command. Macros can automate complex tasks and reduce the number of steps required to complete tasks that you perform frequently. Macros are recorded in the Visual Basic for Applications programming language. You can also write macros directly by using Visual Basic Editor.
If you do find means to get this, please post back here!
