Open my mini!
Help! I can't open my macmini to add memory!

I found a former thread but the link to the movie is not working and I can't find the 'tabs' they are talking about to open it.

I have close up pix of the mini here http://www.putfile.com/ramoza1

Thanks for any help!!

Hello. The documentation that came with the Mini should provide details on adding more memory, including step-by-step pictures. Do you have the documentation that came with it?

The Apple website should have instructions. Here's a link from MacWorld, with pictures:

The "tabs" are most likely a reference to the tabs in Safari. It refers to a new window. To open a new tab in Safari, click File/New Tab and you'll see a new window appear. You can click on the tabs underneath the address bar to navigate between the windows.

Hope that helps.

Hi:

No I don't have the documentation, it would be nice if I did, then I could look at it. Also the tabs referred to are actual physical tabs on the mini itself I just can't seem to locate them.

I am an apple certified help desk technician for MAC OS X and beyond but I have never opened one up and it wasn't required for the class my company provided for me either.

thanks!!
